Info banner stuck on TV startup after the latest firmware

Hello, after the latest firmware upgrade (3.885) info banner gets stuck in the upper part of the screen when turning on the TV.

Info banner isn't shown if you simply shut down the TV by remote and then quickly turn on the TV again without waiting 10+ minutes for the deeper TV standby.

The info banner in question is the one saying e.g. "HDMI 3 3840x2160p" in the upper-left corner and time in the upper-right corner (it doesn't include the "Screen Format: Full" text in the lower part of screen).

This is a bugged info banner state as you can't turn it off like you normally can by pressing the info key on the remote. You can only clear it by e.g. switching between DTV & HDMI input or pressing the help key and then the back key on the remote.

I'm using KD-55X8505C and I have the Info banner disabled in the "Home" - "Settings" - "Channel setup" menu.

Please notify the engineers to fix in the upcoming firmware, thank you.

Hi @Danmot,

Please can you try the following:

Reboot your TV by pressing the green power button for more than 5 seconds or unplug the TV for around 10 minutes.
If this doesn’t help, try performing a factory reset.
