Hi.

Just got my 55XE9005. I cannot turn off the subtitles permanently - each time I change TV channels, they come back. Very annoying!

I have checked the forum and the internet. There seems to be no subtitles on/off option on my Setup menu.

Please help.

Hi @hichachoc. Have you looked in Home -> Settings -> (System Preferences) -> Accessibility-> Subtitle -> Display -> On/Off?

Note to anybody that hasn’t seen this Subtitle setting menu, it gives you control of subtitle size and foreground and background colour.

Yes I have looked at it. Many times. It's OFF. But I still get subtitles each time I switch channels.

Still very annoying.

Any other suggestions?
