    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So 16 months TV go dark soon as I switch on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get a menu for 1 sec then black.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I done an hard factory reset. No luck...&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can see the white light round the edges.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If I shine a torch can't see any image&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I do get sound.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I assume this is commen.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On ringing Sony.. They said seem some power failure to a component...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any idea what this is and where I can buy one... As it out of warrenty... Really cant afford a new TV&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Their may be a locally tamed TV repair person that may be able to help or an expensive Sony Repair Centre booked in through&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href=" https://services.sony.co.uk/supportmvc/en/Contact/Email" target="_blank"&gt;Sony UK Support&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;. Are you sure it is out of warranty, I would always expect a 5 year guarantee with Sony TVs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
