Linking a Freesat set top box to my XR55-A84J

Can anyone help? Trying to set up my new TV remote to operate the sat top box

its a Freesat box, the remote will not find it on auto set up and can not find it through a search either. Any help would be greatly received

It’s not something I would do but I have just tried it (using the instructions below).

The setup was quick and easy for my Sky Q satellite box. It changes channels and accepts the number keys.

What is the make and model of your box and I will see if it is on mine. You may have to accept your Freesat box is not in it’s database.

Hey there,

I would try the above, but also try this sequence: [Settings - Channels & Inputs - External Inputs - External Device Setup].

Also, try to enable BRAVIA Sync.
