test your phone with the suggestions above and/or repair your phone if the problem continue then its a hardware issue, you will have to take it back to the store or a sony repair center

I can't answer that question, you have to contact Sony if its a hardware issue, but before you even start considering that, try my suggestions

There might be a loose connection issu. I also had that. I just covered my phone with soft jelly pouch and hitted the speaker area softly with wooden door. That problem solved!!!

I am using SONY ERRICSSON from last 5 years, which forced me to fall in love with that model.

But recently I purchsed SONY brand which is fully disappointing model
It is less than a month I encountered loud speaker problem, when i visited service center they asked me to surrender my mobile for 8 days which i cannot afford.

It is very disappointing, cheap service. Henceforth i will never recommend SONY to anyone, it seems that SAMSUNG, HTC and iphone is really better.

whenever I attend any phone call and after that play a song in Walkman or any other music player, sound plays through earphone and not through speakers!
earphone in the sense-phone's secondary speaker used for phone call.please help me. To make it work I have to ask a friend to call me and attend phone through loud speaker.

Yap i have the same problem here

When i restart the phone its ok but after a phone call i have the same bug my message tone dont work my phone turns silence mode only vibrates.

Any soluction to this bug?

I also have nearabout same kind of problem, my L speaker works while Ringtone and notification, alarms.

But doesent work for Music. That sures that it is not any Hardware problem with handset.

And one more problem is Internal earphone doesn't properly,

when I said properly it meaning that, sometime it works and sometime doesn't work.

Mainly when I switch to the L speaker, it works and back switching to internal speaker it doesn't work.

I can't hear sound in the internal speaker anyhow.

It might be again concluded that it is not a hardware problem.

I think it is the problem with software interfacing with Android and Hardware of Sony Xperia L,

I have upgraded my mobile Android version to 4.2.2, but it couldn't be the problem because it was working.

Near about over more than one month it was worknig. And then now mobile speakers are facing such problem.,

As I found on this site, I didn't found any solution yet which can cure this problem,

Please suggest any solution, may be setting problem, so that I can change my settings.

Or may be software updates, or driver reconfiguration, etc. that I can do myself.
