Transfer L3 to L4

Just got a new L4 and have tried to transfer all my data from my old L3 phone to the L4. The Xperia Transfer 2 app does not allow the L4 to receive data. The Sony Companion on the computer will bot allow the L3 to transfer the data out.

Doe anyone know what the easiest way to transfer all data from L3 to L4?

Transfer is nowadays done using Google services.

Read this post and click the links on the bottom line.

Chat apps like Signal and WhatsApp need to have their own backup.

Do follow @Strampke suggestion, as for whatsapp what I find useful is to have both backups one on their cloud service and create a backup on an SD card > unmount the SD and SIM card from the old device > install whatsapp on the new device > insert SD and SIM cards > open whatsapp > restore using the SD backup
