Xperia XA bluetooth will not connect to car

My Sony Xperia XA wants a 16 digit password to connect to my car. My last phone connected just fine. My car only provides a 4 digit pin.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the community.

Try initiating the connection from your phone instead of the car system. If you are still having trouble, try it in safe mode.

Phone still will not connect to car. Phone wants a 16 digit code. Car only provides a 4 digit code. I think i'll take it back and get a refund as phone is defective.
