Set clock to stay on all the time

I would like the clock to stay on all the time. I have searched but can't find how to do this. Is it possible? If so can you explain how in great detail please

What do you mean by Clock staying on all the time? Do you mean that you want your lock screen to stay lit all the time? Well this can be achieved but only while your phone is on a charger:

- You can activate Screen saver from Settings -> Display -> Screen saver, and have a clock app installed that can support screen savers (Try Timely).

- You can also activate "Stay awake" option from Settings -> Developers options (not recommended though). If you can't find Developers options in your Settings menu, go to Settings -> About phone -> tap seven times on Build number.

I would like to be able to use the phone as a clock when it is locked, but not on a charger. It has been possible with all my Nokia phones in the past.

Hi @Maddie4,

In the default system the best you could do is set the sleep timer to 30 minutes, which is the maximum. Otherwise the only way to achieve this would be through the use of third party software. I cannot guarantee the functionality of third party software so I cannot recommend any apps specifically.

Please be aware that in doing this you will notice significant battery drain by keeping your screen on all the time.

Another choice could be installing application from the playstore that achieves the same functionality. There are apps available, please search. You may have to try a few before you zero in on one. Please also share the one you settled on so that others in the forum could benefit from you.

Update: I installed "Always On AMOLED" application and it seems quite good in terms of its functionality. Yet to see its side effects of battery consumption etc. Will keep you posted. Please try it out and see if it meets your needs.
