Oreo update hotspot not working

Since i updater my phone to oreo my xbox one and laptop does not see my mobile hotspot. Any one els have the same problem?

delete the hotspot from your computer and xbox and re-add it.

Xbox does not remeber more than one wi fi connection at a time and is curently on my home wi fi. Plus it does not show up in my wi fi list when i search for wi fi connections on both of them.

My htc one sees the hotspot no problem. Just my laptop and xbox that does not see it.

That's what I thought, there's nothing wrong with your phone, now, could you check your computer wifi/network settings > forget hotspot > restart the computer > scan for it > add it > report back.

One laptop picks it up but the xbox and other laptop still does not see the hotspot. Problem is i mostly use it on the xbox and the laptop thats not picking it up.

Has anyone came with the solution for this? I have the same problem with my Sony VAIO.

Also, if hotspot is on, I have to restart my laptop, then it sees the hotspot, but eventually disconnects from it.

I updated to Oreo on Tuesday. My pc does not pick up my phone's hotspot. Deleted the device from the pc. Added it manually. Restarted. Still not working. Other cellular devices can connect to my hotspot. I connected to the pc through usb tethering. Really disappointed😔 I can't think what the problem could be

Hello everyone, I was having the same issue from the time I upgraded to Oreo. My laptop was unable to detect the hotspot. But today I reset my phone by selecting the option without losing the data and now it started working.

It will work definitely. So, please reply if your issue is resolved.
