At first I thought it maybe I wasn't doing something right so I called 02 and they suggested I go to there shop and see a guru he tried number of different settings but nothing worked <SPAN class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":confused_face:"><span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":confused_face:">😕</span></SPAN> so he said it would need to be send off for repair which being the phone is only 3 months old seemed a bit of a kick in the teeth. Then I thought about for a while and wondered if it may have something to do with the Oreo update,,it just so happened that my wife and my 2 friend have the XA1 and when I checked theres had the same problem and none of the 3 XA1s would calibrate.oh and in both the Sony test menu and the support tests the accelerometer worked. But after vigorous calibration in service menu (*#*#7378423#*#* / service tests /compass)&nbsp;all works fine. Also, environment (buildings, EM devices etc.) know to make problems.
