Hi, I've been getting this since July, after some update. I can power it up to full power, put it in my top pocket and at some time will just appear to go dead. It may happen after 2 hours, 36 hours or 3 minutes. It happened mid call yesterday. The only difference is that if I attach a power cable it springs back into life... only to fall over anytime after. I've found that if it's powered up and left alone, i.e. on the bedside cabinet, it'll work until the battery goes flat. This kinda makes me think there's some kind of gyroscope (or something similar) problem going on. In the meantime it's an expensive clock. I'm currently using my iPhone 5 with no problem whatsoever. Very disappointed indeed.

Hi,

Lastnight i was using my Sony Xperia XA1 Dual. This morning, I noticed that it would not turn on. I tried the volume button+power button but no response from the phone. I tried pressing the power button up to 1 minute but no response either. I removed the sim and memory card and still no response from the phone.

I then plugged the charger and noticed that the red-light turned on. After which, it turned off again and vibrated. This response happended continously until I remove the charger.

Even after charging, there is still no response from the phone.

Appreciate your advice on how best I can resolve this issue because our Sony Service Centre will charge me an arm and a leg to fix this.

I have been having the same problem for a few days. Phone will go completely blank and then only restart once connected to the power source. Only had the phone for a few weeks so very very frustrated.
