topic Faulty speaker in XA Series

Hello. I own an Xperia XA2 Ultra dual - sim. The mouthpiece or microphone (I think that's the correct term) has stopped working and I am now only able to conduct calls using the loudspeaker. I can hear callers perfectly but they are unable to hear me. I ran the test and could hear but only very faintly. The device has not been damaged or dropped in any way. Would a reset help?

Thank you.
