XA1 Ultra just shut off and won't turn back on

Hi, so this morning I was listening to music on my phone on my way to work, pretty standard and it was the only app open, when my phone completely froze. I couldn't force shutdown as I was driving and when I was able to pull over my phone was completely off and I couldn't get it to come back on. Ive tried forcing a restart by pressing the power button and Volume up for 15ish seconds, I tried taking out my SIM and Micro SD cards, and I've tried charging it. I'm at a complete loss here because I only bought the phone about 6 months ago and I've always been able to turn my phone back on after a short period when something similar happend.

I'm really dissapointed because I adore this phone and was considering upgrading to the XZ2 Premium in a couple of months, but if the phone is already shot, I don't know if I should spend that much on a phone that may die in less than a year.

This happened to me on 27th October.

Sony have refused to repair due to non-existent damage.
