topic Phone becomes unusable with phone mount in XA Series

I couldn't figure out where to go for this. It's a very specific problem I've had for a long time. It hasn't started after I did something specific. I've done everything from a phone wipe to restarting. Absolutely nothing works. I have my screen on and when I go to put it on my magnetic Scosche car dash mount I cannot use it at all even after pressing the power button. I can't afford this happening since I work in the gig economy. What's happening?
