It's about XZ3 resolution.

As we know XZ3 have 1440x2880 screen and daily use this resolution.so problem is here,some game it just use this resolution to run it,so run some awesome game by 2K will make gane become stuck(if run in 720P it can stay 60Fps),and Phone SOC will more and more hot,the battery will use more faster!

(I always use 黑域app(support use adb shell in Phone)change resolution and DPI to playing game)

so....I hope it can add switch the resolution function....720p 900p 1080p and 1440p! I will glad to see Sony mobile will better than better!

by the way I'm from China my English no well but I Love Sony!

in my case i have this :

adb shell wm size :1440 x 2880 pixels
adb shell wm density :560

Did you change the resolution with ADB SHELL?

Using this code

adb shell wm size

adb shell wm density

Let me know, I also have XZ3 and I want to downgrade resolution in order to increase battery life.
