Hi,

It seems that the Xperia 1 II supports only audo from the headphone jack.

It doesn't work from USB C.

Easy solution

Download and use USB AUDIO PLAYER Pro from the google play store.

Hope that helps:)

If you are using an Audioquest Dragonfly DAC, then you will also need a USB C to USB A OTG Cable

Clearly the plan is to push Hi Res audio through the usb c port 192khz/24Bit audio.....and

get folk to put their Dragonflys in the bin...

Usb audio works fine for me (with fiio btr3 in usb dac mode)

works fine on my xperia 1 original too

As i said if you want to use usb audio properly look at USB AUDIO PLAYER on the play store its thebest adn built for audiophiles.

The “C USB” works fine through my Dragonfly Red using C to A USB adaptor. Outputting audio without any additional app. Using Tidal and Alac stored files on an internal micro SD. Functions 100% . Unlike my iphone which I moved from .

Yes i have the Dragon fly back

A straight USB to USB A adapter doesnt work, it has to be some sort of OTG!

When the black and red came out you had to use USB AUDIO PLAYER PRO, since then they updated it that you can use almost any app.

However USB AUDIO Player pro is still the best and worth paying for

A straight adapter is bad advice as its not a traight one its an OTG adapter or cable
