My Xperia Z3 Compact does not turn on. When connected to charger, red light flashing, if halfway plugged in to charger, the interval between the flashes is much longer. I have tried holding down the volume and power buttons to no avail.

You've tried volume up and power button for 10 seconds?

If so leave on charge for a full hour and try the above again.

I have tried what you suggested, but my phone screen remains blank, nothing is coming appearing, this reminds me of the problems I had with two PS3, the red light of death it became known, is this the same thing as it is doing the same. red flasjing light, no response. do I nned a new phone
