Playlist in Walkman app

I have created a playlist and added songs in the order I want them to play but when I saved it somehow the playlist has sorted itself into a different order.
And I can't find a way to change the order back. There isn't an option in the app to rearrange a playlist?
Can anyone tell me how to get a playlist in the order I want it to be?

try the basics

if you are new to the walkman app, make sure this option is not enabled (the one marked with red circle):

if it's white (unlike on the image) it makes your list to playback in shuffle mode, tap it to disable shuffling.

Thanks for the suggestion but the problem occurred while I was building the list, not during playback. Say I had added songs 1,2,3 and then added song 4. At that point the playlist contained songs 1,3,4,2.

Do you know if there is a way to edit a playlist to change the order?

Sure.

You should make the playlist actually play first.

Then go to the Album/cover view, the big one.

tap this icon:

then long-tap on the (1) and move any of the songs to rearrange, then save it back (2) like this:

Hey just a question..when I click on the 2 like you said to save re-arranged playlist,it only shows me an option to make a new playlist...is that a bug then?

Yes, probably. As long as you don't skip to another playlist, the present order of songs will stay the same. But it will not be saved in the playlist, that is, if you skip to another playlist and then come back to this playlist, the order of songs will be as it had been before you edited the order. You can save your edit in the order of songs only as a new playlist.
