agenda / calendar and front camera crash at startup

Hey all,

After update today the calendar app crashes on startup. Also the front camera isn't working anymore, while switching it crashes....

Hope someone can help out!

Is the calendar also now working or is this continuing to crash?

Calendar is still crashing at startup. Also tried it in safe mode, same problem...

Have you installed any 3:rd party calendar app? If so, try removing it and see if that helps.

If not, try clearing data for the app called "Calendar" under Settings -> Apps -> All.

If you still have the same problem after trying this you can try clearing data for the app called "Calendar Storage" but please note that this will delete all events stored in the phones calendar. It will not delete anything on your synchronized calendars like Google or ActiveSync.

Tried all above, no third party Apps, cleared cache, cleared storage...no luck. Upon opening the agenda I see the first screen for like 1 second, then it quits. Hope you guys can get me a fix, agenda is one of the most important things for me in a smartphone...

Exactly same fault here, I have installed and unistalled calendar , the icon is still showing on screen but app is uninstalled!!

Did you also try clearing data for "Calendar Storage". This will reset the entire calendar in the phone.

If that doesn't help, what accounts do you have with calendar sync under Settings -> Accounts?

Hey, thanks for replying so quickly. I did delete the agenda storage indeed. I don't have any calendar sync account under accounts, is that causing the issue?

You don't need to have a sync account to use a calendar so that should not be the problem.

My suspicion was that you had some bad/corrupt data in the calendar database causing the problem so i was a bit surprised that clearing data for both calendar and calendar storage didn't help.

Have you tried repairing the phones software using PC Companion?

Wait I don't see 'calendar storag. Only 'calendar'. In apps -> all.

Is it possible that you have disabled this app? That will cause the calendar to crash as you have no calendar storage. Go to Settings -> Apps -> All and scroll to the bottom to see apps you have disabled. If "Calendar Storage" is disabled you need to enable it to use the calendar.
