Sony A7 ii connection to USB

Hi everyone,

I recently bought the Sony A7 ii camera and am having trouble connecting it to my computer to transfer images and videos. The first time I tried through the USB cable, it worked but only images were shown, no videos but now it doesn't connect at all. When plugged in, the camera screen states 'USB mode' connecting, but nothing shows on my computer. I have tried it on several different devices with different cables and still nothing. Any help or advice would be much appreciated! Thank you

Are you using the original USB cable that was supplied with your Sony camera??

What's the operating system for your computer? And are you using any apps when you connect the camera to the computer?

Also, could you make sure that the camera is up to date?
