Sony AX53 Warranty

Hi, i'm interested in buying an FDR-AX53/BC Camcorder privately.

The box is still factory sealed. Is there anyway I check its a genuine European model and not a grey import?

If I buy it and register it with Sony Eu will it be covered under warranty

Happy to buy it so long as the warranty is valid
