Hallo,
mein media center erkennt die tv-karte nicht, radio geht auch nicht. Da kommt immer eine meldung ich soll die Hardware und die Treiber überprüfen. Habe auch schon die treiber für die AverMedia karte deinstalliert und wieder installiert, geht trotzdem nicht.
Hat vielleicht jemand eine lösung?

Hier jetzt die Lösung vom Englischen Experten:

FM Tuner "AverMedia Hybrid TV Card" geht nicht mit dem Media Center, kümmert sich aber auch keiner drum, da Sony das wohl nicht als Feature mit verkauft.

TV- Card:
da hat MS (Windows) Mist gebaut mit einem Update, das die TV-Karten erkenneung vermasselt hat.
Die Lösung ist, das die Karte im Media Center neu registriert werden muss,
d.h.

runterladen und ausführen.

dann viel Spaß beim Tv gucken, oh wie gerne ich doch mitlerweile auch einen TV Tuner hätte.

Oh- I forgot about the FM Tuner. Although Sony use the AverMedia Hybrid TV Card, there is no way to get the FM Radio working on a Vaio running Media Centre. As far as I know, nobody has managed to do this and Sony do not advertise this as a feature so they are aware that it will not work.

There is a known fault caused by Media Centre Updates that stops the TV Card being found. There is a fix in the English thread here: -

The TV card must be re-registered with the server - either manually or by running a little script called "registerMC" that can be downloaded.

Download and run

registerMC
