Make sure that DMA is enable. On mine it runs on DMA mode 2.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;LOL i neet 50 minutes for writing a DVD in 1x speed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am using A397XP vaio. At this moment, when I use Nero to write DVD, it is very very slow. It takes aournd 1 hour to write one DVD. When I check the systems information, I found that my SONY DVD RW DW-056A DMA is off. Could you tell me how to open DMA of this DVD? Thank you!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

I have solved that problems. At this moment, it just takes about 16 minutes to write one DVD in 4x speeds.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
