Hi, I have a VGN-A317S that is running Click DVD 1.0. The upgrade on support and update page for 2.3 says it cannot upgrade because 2.0 is missing. Where can I get Click DVD 2.0 upgrade from Click DVD 1.0??

I am pretty certain that the A317S should have had either Click to DVD 2.1 or 2.2 pre-installed, in which case the 2.3.03 Upgrade Program version 2.3.03.03030 should work. This is available at Vaio-Link.

You are correct, it was installed, Regedit shows ClicktoDVD 2.3 installed but when started, it gives an error message about my resolution being too high or an overlay problem and comes back as ClickDVD 1.0. I did a screen shot of what I see but cannot find a way to attach it to this thread. Any possibility that I can email it to you?

To attach a screen shot to the thread you first need to upload it to something like Photobucket (it is free) and then attach the Url using the Image button.

I would suggest that you uninstall Click to DVD and then reinstall the original application from your hard disk recovery partition. For a guide on how to do this
