GR414SP - Recovery error "incompatible image in use"

After my notebook has been attacked by viruses, I could not
access to harddiscs.
Therefore I tried to newly install windows-XP in C drive. It was successful but it was impossible to read data from D drive.
I would like to recover my data on D drive but some softwares for data recovery did not help me.
Finally, when I try to recovery my harddisc using the original delivered Recovery CDs with the standard option, I get an error message saying "incompatible image in use".
Can somebody help me, what can be tackled in this situation
to save the data on D drive?

I don;t think much can be done if you've been hit with a virus which stops access to 😧

I would do an advamced recocery and start from scratch

I remember something called Trojan Remover which was pretty good...
