Unfortunately, I can offer no words of encouragement at all - it's a real pain... But Kee-Lo is right (again!) that eBay is the best bet. There are lots of drives available if you're patient but note that you can get Windows XP start-up disks for floppy from the Microsoft website (no link - sorry).<BR /><BR />But DO NOT BANK ON THEM IF YOU ONLY HAVE A USB FLOPPY DRIVER OR CD! The BIOS does offer an i-Link option so I might try that at some point. 'Nuff said...<BR /><BR />But you say the CDs themselves are 'useless'.
