CAN A KENSINGTON LOCK BE USED WITH A VAIO Z1XSP ?

Am I missing someting? I can't find an anchor point for a security lock. Is trhere another option available?[

I use a Z1RSP, basically the same computer.

There is a slot for a kensington lock. Look at the back of the computer, next to the flap for the Ethernet and monitor connections. The slot is in the magnesium casing, approx 7mm * 3mm. You can just see the slot in this photo, to the left of the USB ports.

With regard to kensington lock cables....if you are flying, this cable needs to be put in your checked in luggage. Some of the security people think that it can be used for restraining the pilot in a hijack attemp so will remove it from your bag and keep it (along with scissors, razors and other dangerous weapons!!).
