Short Cut Buttons

For some reason my vol, brightness, zoom and s1 buttons have stopped working. The mute button works but the others seem dead. Also the sensor for the brightness of the monitor does not seem to work anymore. The laptop is only 4 weeks old and I have only run one update.

Dumb question time. I've been looking around the vaio-link site and I cannot find the shared utilities download file - please help I'm having the same problem with my short cut buttons and it's driving me mad!

I dont know if anyone else can help but I'm not able to open up my CD/DVD drive unless I use the manual override. Any thoughts?

Try looking here. Go to drivers and patches and it should be the last one on the list.

You will need to enter your serial to get in though.
