Z1SP Laptop memory upgrade

I've had this beauty for a while now. It originally shipped with 512Mb RAM, I tried to add a 1Gb chip but this didn't work. So I then added a 512Mb chip which was OK.

I've now got 1GB but am needing more to help with all the VMWare work I'm doing these days.

Can anyone tell me if this laptop can be upgraded to more than 1GB - I've a feeling the US edition can??

Have you got the European version?
Try Crucial for your next memory upgrade.

If you look at this then you will see the maximum amount of RAM for this system is 1GB (2x512MB) so I guess you have hit the limit.

I would wait to see if anyone else can prove otherwise...
