CPU Temperature (Sony Vaio VGN-AW11Z)

Hi, just wondering if anyone can help.
Over the last couple of days I have noticed my laptop fan has become slightly noisier/busier. The temperature of the fan seemed hot, so I downloaded some free software & checked the CPU Temperature. It came out between 71-73 degrees, which I am led to believe is too hot. Is there anything I can do about this?
I have considered buying some compressed 'air in a can' and giving the fan a quick blast to shift any dust, other than that I'm stumped:)

Hi, I have a SONY VAIO VGN-NS12M of 2 years old, my CPU tempertures today, in augustus (in the house: 30°C)are average 58° with a lot of programs opened, but little cpu usage, fan at 3300 rpm.

If I stress the system with EVEREST prog, CPU at maximum, it can go up quickly to 85° with fan at 4500rpm, in a few minutes, but no problem seen for a 15 minutes test at this high temperature.
