Bit dim on computers!
have got the above and am trying and failing to connect up so sound system works from all speakers. Can anyone help/advise me

I don't think the pcv-rs346 has a 5.1 sound card

An Audigy 2 would probably be a best deal as it's not too expensive yet does 5.1

Have you got a 5.1 soundcard? the one supplied isnt capable of 5.1

Many thanks for reply, is this card just a slot in at the back?.
Have tried Sony for solution but not getting much joy at the moment.

An internal PCI sound card is what you need.

This will do the trick lovley, 7.1 baby yeah!

Yes, it's a PCI slot - or you can get a USB card (not as good IMHO)
