      <title>usb 2 card reader</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all i have just bought a silvercrest 16 in 1 usb 2.0 card reader &lt;BR /&gt;am i right in saying that this should be plugged into the front usb ports ?&lt;BR /&gt;i get the new drives listed but cant read the card all i get is an error saying this card has not been formatted but it comes up after i click format that an error has happend and it canot be formatted i have taken out sp2 and no diff &lt;BR /&gt;any advice you lot &lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.ua/html/@13A2E6A3774A8B47B4EC6F04089539E1/images/smilies/063.png" alt=":thinking:" title=":thinking:" /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;ah nearly forgot its for my pcv-rx402&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

But I would assume you would use the MemoryStick slot instead...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you use SD Cards for instance in a camera they must be formatted in FAT instead of FAT32 unless your camera specifies differently of course - for these it is best formatting them inside the camera instead of the computer...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If it is possible use another computer for testing, or if you are finding it difficult to insert and remove the USB reader try using a USB extension cable...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope this helps instead of confusing you!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;img class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.ua/html/@0248C33DDCF34AA61B8F8F33F5AFA5BE/images/smilies/013.png" alt=":wink:" title=":wink:" /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;@Kee-Lo&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;U are damn right, some USB ports are not well powered, not all may function properly with some hardware add-ons.&lt;BR /&gt;This apply to peecees with more than 2 USB-Ports.&lt;BR /&gt;The solution is just to try out where´s the right port.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Example:&lt;BR /&gt;-connecting a USB 2.0 HD to an port tells me that this harware can get a better transfer rate when connected to the right USB-Port &lt;BR /&gt;-connecting the HD to the right port improves the transfer rate to lightning fast!!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Example END! :smileygrin:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
