I've had my VAIO for nearly 3 years and recently the d drive is refusing to read new games and certain DVD's. It has no problems reading CD R's and music CD's. The final strw has come when a few days ago I bought a couple of new games which do not require a powerful computer to operate, eg card games. What has happened is that one wasn't read and the other was read but has since been refused. I realise that my VAIO is nearly 3 years old and as such may just require a new drive but can anyone offer another explanation to this problem because it is very infuriating.
