PC Vaio and USB Connected Sony Camcorder

Help please!!!!
I am trying to connect my Sony PC110E Digital camcorder to my Vaio but the PC does not recognise the connection. The PC recognises connection for every other USB device just not the camcorder. Any advise? I am getting desperate as I have my kids stage school video I have to transfer to DVD so it can be sent to their Grandparents for Christmas.:smileysad:

Try reinstalling the drivers for the USB hubs.

What cable are you using to connect to the PC? It should be an iLink cable.

Also check to see if there are any updates or patches from Vaio-Link
