Hope this question isn't too stupid. My V2S is the best PC i've ever owned and I'm a simple soul. Can a learned user please tell me why I have 30G on drive C and 198G on Drive D? Even for storage or backup I would have at least 50 and 160, but probably 150 and 50.
Peter

The usual idea behind it is to have Windows with more or less it's own partition to speed it up. Other stuff goes on the other partition, or at least I would image that was the intention.

As this is a V.A.I.O. (VAIO) and it´s more or less a Digital-Recording-System (integrated) it´s logic to partition the drive that way.
As u can record TV-Programs (i can´t:smileysad: ) ,it uses much amount of space, so clearly and logicaly to have more free space on drive 😧 !
But u can always change this by using the integrated recovery system and partition the whole drive again (SONY let´s u change the drive in 4 ways: 125:125 MB would be recommended for u).
Give it a try...nothing to loose.

Regards,
