Help and Support icon not working

Hi - having problems with laptop and just tried to click on the Help and Support icon, but get error message saying that "Windows cannot open Help and Support because a system service is not running. To fix this problem, start the service named 'Help and Support'? "

How do I start it? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious, but trying to reinstall CD drive as well..... thank you.

Are you running Windows 7, Vista or XP?

For Vista and Win7 go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

Scroll down to 'Help and Support' and double-click on it. Change the Startup Type to Automatic and then click on Start to start the service.
