No soun d on TV when playing blu ray discs

I am having problems when playing blu ray discs on my TV through my AR61M. I only can get sound thorugh the laptop speakers and not through the TV. Can anyone advise of the problem and / or fix?

Hi skelly01 ,

have you checked audio settings.

To change the audio settings, do the following..

Click Start, then Control Panel.

Click Hardware and Sound, then Manage Audio Devices.

In the sound window click on Playback tab and check that Digital output devices has been selected..

Yes checked this. It used to work without any problems. I uninstalled the drivers and re-installed.
One thing I noticed is that when I went into the driver folder, there are drivers for Sigmatel and Realtek. I installed Realtek.

Hi skelly01,

in the Sigmatel folder you should see a Setup.exe, clicking on this should allow you to install the sigmatel high definition drivers.
