Hi There,
I recently bought the Xperia 1 ii and I'm learning all the new stuff on it.
I realised that I don't have the option to export my contacts (that are saved on the device) to my SIM.
I can import contacts from SIM to phone, but when I try to export them, it only gives me the option to choose an account: either my gmail account or device. It doesn't give me the option to save on SIM.
I never had that problem on any other Sony phone, so I would appreciate any feedback.
It's cause the newer the device the more likely it is that it would be using Google cloud services for backup.
Well, it should have that option because it's the easiest way to import your contacts to another phone, rather than going through cloud. I'm really over using everything Google. It might be good for a big phone backup, but just contacts...
Bah, another app. That's so weird. I mean how hard is it to make exporting contacts to sim accessible? That's the quickest way to import/export contacts to new phones.
I'm really disappointed that that's not an option, but will do looking for an app.
Thanks for your help.
@justynaismyname looks strange, what is more strange is that you can import from SIM, however probably looking at the new storage scheme (only on the email accounts for syncing), I guess SIM card cannot be synced...
LE: Will try to get some info on this.
