Hey, did you try changing the password? Restarting the server and the camera as well?

Thanks for replying.i got in touch with Sony Pro support who said when yo put in your password and click save it does save the settings although it still shows reset,they said also that they have got in touch with sony development engineers to see if this can be changed as it is very confusing,let's hope they change it.
