Sony A7III focus go to top left corner and stays there.

Hi,

I have a sony a7iii like 2 years and love the camera, but i have a problem with focus that i don´t see no one complaining. Sometimes when i focus (normally i have center focus) the focus go to top left corner and don´t leave it... 

Its crazy since i turn off the camera multiple times , and sometimes it keeps on top left... at first i taugh it could be of adapter from sigma mc11 since i have lots of canon good glass , but i bought sony 85mm f1.8 and i have same problem. Its a pain when it shows in crucial moments....

Hi Drackey,

Are you using center focus or maybe flexible spot focus by accident?

If you're using the center focus the spot shouldn't move. If it does you might want to reset your camera to factory defaults and see if it solves the issue. If it doesn't help I would suggest to send the camera to service for inspection.
