What does the V signify on the SLT-A55V

I have a SLT-A55V camera purchased some 9 months ago, shortly after its release.  I note that there appears to be 2 models, a SLT-A555 and a SLT-A55V, what is the difference?

As far as I can see there is only one SLT-A55 camera sold in Europe.

The basic A55 was only sold in markets like Japan WITHOUT GPS - the actual model sold here is the SLT-A55V which is the model WITH GPS enabled.

SLT-A55V = Body Only

SLT-A55VL = Body + 18:55 SAM Lens

SLT-A55VY = Body + 18:55 SAM Lens + 55:200 SAM Lens

I have not heard of the A555 - except it is a trunk road in Cheshire!!!!!

I think V stands for the built in GPS-module.
