Can anyone help... I've had my Sony Android TV for over a year and the Alexa skill NEVER works consistently. I always have to disable then go through all the hassle again and it still doesn't work all the time. I've uninstalled the software and reset my TV and still nothing. I'm appalled at the lack of customer service with Sony. All Sony tech people need to do is read the reviews for the Sony Android TV skill and I'm not the only person with the same problem. I'm so disappointed with Sony and from now on I'm going back to LG.

I cleared the data and cache from the Alexa settings app (called TV Control setup with amazon alexa) I also disabled the Sony TV skill and from the TV app setup for Alexa. This was like a reset but I also had to unlink both my Echo's then link them again to the TV, then it worked.... I was going to throw the TV out my window but not now so thank you very much.
Clearing the cache has changed things as stated previously. When I ask the app to show available voice commands I get th3 list above.
All of them working with the exception of "change channel to channel 5" (example) work. So going backwards and forwards channels work - it's going to a specific channel that's the issue.
Have you possibly done some custom channel sorting by any chance?
No - not done any channel customisations (but I like yur line of thinking)
It's weird that it worked for GlasgowSteve but not for you. Are you on the latest software?
