Android TV - no sound on apps
Hi
Ive had an A9 OLED for less than a week. Updated it yesterday
most native apps (prime, now TV, iplayer, Disney) are now playing in approx 1.5 speed with no sound at all
Any help please? Just listening through TV, no soundbar or anything
many thanks

Really sorry not able to help. We have had this same problem since we subscribed to amazon prime and have been unable to solve it. Sony are about as helpful as a chocolate t-pot!

Resetting the TV worked for me. The problem resurfaces from time to time.

Also got the A9. Same problem occurred on mine since new software update. No sound on iPlayer and no ‘beep’ sound when changing channels etc. Switched TV off and unplugged it from mains for about ten minutes and sound has come back. Hope this has fixed it.

If you have the latest software version, try clearing the TV's cached data (under Device Preferences - Storage - Internal Shared Storage - Cached data).

The settings are model-specific, could you let us know what model you have so we can help? ^^
PS: They can also differ depending on the software version, so let us know that as well.

This was not a solution in my case. Restarting the tv was though.
