Hi,
4 weeks ago the Google Cast icon stopped showing on my mobile apps, which meant I couldn't cast to the TV.
We realised this was due to an issue with the TV, which only a factory reset would fix.
The factory reset fixed the issue for about 1 week, but now it's back.
What's causing the issue, and how do we fix it?

normally you can delete the cache of the Google Cast app on its won in your app settings.

Thanks for trying @IamNic, but that didn't help either.
I've been on the Chromecast built-in TV app and cleared cache, cleared data, disabled & enabled, and it's still not worked.
I've also uninstalled updates on the Chomecast built-in TV app and reset the TV, but that didn't work either.
Then I tried force stopping the Chromecast built-in TV app, and it's still broken.
Finally I did another factory reset but that didn't even fix the problem this time.
What is left to try?
