I had purchased the above TV and could not access BBC Iplayer, ITV hub, More 4 or 5Demand. I have a IT expert as a son and three other intelligent adults in the room. We went through the setup function, refreshed the software and accessed YouView. All we got was a channel list in YouView with no pathway to the streaming services we expected to see. We contacted John Lewis and they tried to assist without success. We are all intelligent adults and there appeared to be no way the T.V. would show us the standard streaming apps quoted above. I finally admitted defeat and have returned the T.V. to John Lewis. I don't have it now however I am curious as to why a Smart T.V. would not do such the basics functions. We tried in vain to search for the Iplayer but the message on the screen simply said. 'This device does not support that app' Same message from ITV hub etc.. Does anyone know why we could not do it?

The iPlayers were added in the Dec21 update v6.4304 and could be found in Sony Select. You should note that these are included in the base firmware and cannot be added from the Google Store.

I appear to have purchased faulty TV because none of those icons were in Sony select. We did look there.

Hey jenbigg, I think you didn't update the software, as at the begging it needed to be updated manually.
