my e-reader wont allow me to read my books

:smileyangry:hello i have had my reader for about 3 weeks and each time i have downloaded the books  they are protected by some kind of rights and i cant read my books please help  otherwise i will be taking it back to the shop as i have had enough!!!

I think we need some more details:

- which model are you using

- are you using the reader software delivered with your product or a 3rd party one?

- which store are you buying from

Anything you can add in what steps you actually take.
