Any recommendations on the best camera for under $200?

If 2nd hand is OK for you, I would look for a RX100! By far the best compact camera for the money!

(Or stretch your budget a bit!)

Otherwise, I would suggest an HX50(v). V is for gps, without v is without gps.

Of course, if you tell us more what you expect from a compactcamera (what your priorities are), it would help too
