Hi
I have the above Amp, I want to run a second set of speakers in the adjoining room from the amp, can this be done without an extra amplifier, perhaps by splitting the speaker outputs between the speakers in each room, as I do not wish to have sound in both rooms at the same time?
Many thanks
Hi there
I have had a look into this, and cannot find a way to do what you want (ie running the second set of speakers independently) with your current equipment. However I may have found a solution (cheap too). However you will need to research this fully to ensure that it actually does what you want.
What I am referring to is a 2-way Speaker switch. See :

Hope this helps.
Thanks very much for you response. Yes, I could find only this solution and although it talks about linking one to two pairs, it will probably work for two singles and they are available in multi-point units. I think I shall have to call and have a word with those nice chaps at Maplin
Let us all know how you get on anyhow
