DLNA server missing from Music Center

Hi,

I have a weird problem: Using the Music Center app (Android) to control my STR-DN1080 receiver. Under Home Network I can see Plex show up as DLNA server but the other one running (Serviio on same Windows PC) is not displayed in the list. I've tried refreshing, uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I can find the server if I use the Home Network browser on the receiver. So very confused...

Any ideas?

After digging a bit more this appears to be a problem with the Android app. On the iPad the Serviio server shows up and allows me to send music to the receiver. (Great quality btw).

You might wish to let the developers know by clicking the link in the app listing in the Play Store. I wouldn't imagine they frequent this forum. Hopefully they can look into it.

Hi,

If anyone encounters this problem... I've been in contact with Sony
support. Either they can't/won't help or I have failed to describe the
problem well enough. Issue is that in the Music centre Android app I don't
see the Serviio DLNA server on my home network. I can see Plex though. Plex
and Serviio run on the same PC so that might be related.

I can see the Serviio server in the iOS app and directly on the Sony
STR-DN1080 receiver. So I would assume that it is an issue in the Android
app. So for now my workaround is to use the receiver or the iOS app.
