I got this blu-ray player about a year ago and it was working fine until a few months ago. Now when I try to play certain DVD-movies they freeze about halfway through the movie. It seems to happen mostly with longer movies, around two hours or longer.I have no problem with blu-ray movies or shorter movies on DVD.
